From June 14-18th 2026, the MISC lab attended the annual OHBM conference in Bordeaux. Multiple members of the lab presented their ongoing doctoral research and caught up with friends and colleagues from across the globe. Well done, all!

On Thursday 15th January, Yuping successfully defended her doctoral research and passed her viva 🎊. Huge congratulations, Dr. Yuping Yang! 

Yuping's doctoral work focused on brain controllability in normative cohorts and multiple sclerosis, specifically looking at how key regions, such as the thalamus, drive brain dynamics underpinning cognitive state transitions. Yuping will now continue her postdoctoral research with the SPiN group, focusing on mapping brain charts in NF1.
